Course Content & What You’ll Learn
This in-depth requalification training prepares you to assess, manage, and treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses, including:
The roles and responsibilities of a workplace first aider
Assessing incidents and primary/secondary surveys
CPR (including use of AED defibrillator) for adults
Recovery position and unresponsive casualty care
Management of choking, bleeding, and shock
Treatment of burns, fractures, and dislocations
Medical emergencies (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, diabetes, asthma)
Minor and major injury management
Recording/reporting incidents (aligned with RIDDOR)
Infection control, workplace health risks, and legal duties
Course content is aligned with RQF Level 3 requirements and HSE guidance, ensuring compliance and practical readiness.

Duration: 2 Days

Assessment: Practical scenarios + multiple-choice test

Delivered through a combination of 6 hours e-learning at your own pace, followed by 6 hours of in classroom practical teaching and assessments.
