Intended Audience The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency oxygen (RQF) has been specifically designed for those who have a responsibility for providing treatment to patients who need medical gases administrating in Prehospital care environments, such as: those working in the police force, fire service, dentistry or private ambulance sector. Overview During this 1 day course, learners will develop the necessary knowledge and skills needed for the safe, prompt and effective administration of emergency oxygen. Topics covered include: pre-operational inspections and how to monitor and record its effects. Assessment Methods 1 x Learner workbook 1 x Practical assessment. Certification Successful Learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency oxygen (RQF) e-Certificate immediately after their results have been submitted, subject to a Centre’s Direct Claims Status and any required actions.
